I have met several mothers who have requested organized classes to spend quality time with their child. I have confirmed a location in downtown Parkersburg with classes to be held Thursday mornings for several weeks this summer. Specific age-level classes will be determined by most popular request. Fees will be reasonable and some income-qualifying families may receive wavers based on need and availability. Special need's children are welcome with modified activities if needed.

This action-packed class includes a large variety of fun, easy to follow fitness for Mom and Baby, followed by a huge repertoire of "infant stimulation"; songs, rhymes, fingerplays, kneebouncers, parachute activities, bubbles, and so much more. The class concludes with a group discussion, occassional "special guest speakers", and "show and tell'. Classes include breastfeeding, infant massage, child preparation, meditative mama, pre-natal yoga, mommy & baby yoga, music classes as well as The Happiest Baby on the Block classes and SIGN with your BABY classes...

The best reason to enroll your infant in one of these classes? You get to spend one-on-one time with your baby, which is essential for healthy development, says Grimaldi. Your baby also gets to be in a room full of other adorable infants doing baby-like things, which they happen to get a real kick out of since they get to see themselves mirrored. And even at this young age, infants are learning social skills which are also essential to their development.
